Transfer-Out Process

Step 1: Check Eligibility

Ensure domain:

• Registered at least 60 days ago
• Not currently locked
• Contact info is current
• Not in expired status

Step 2: Unlock Domain

1. Go to domain dashboard
2. Navigate to "Security Settings"
3. Disable domain lock
4. Save changes

Step 3: Get Auth Code

1. Click "Transfer Out"
2. View authorization code
3. Copy code
4. Use at new registrar

Step 4: Initiate at New Registrar

1. Start transfer at new registrar
2. Enter domain name
3. Provide auth code
4. Complete their process

Step 5: Approve Transfer

1. Check email for transfer notice
2. Approve transfer (or auto-approved in 5 days)
3. Domain moves to new registrar

Important Notes

• Transfer adds 1 year (paid to new registrar)
• Domain remains functional during transfer
• DNS settings remain until you change them
• No refunds for remaining time
