What is 2FA?
Two-factor authentication requires:
- Something you know (password)
- Something you have (phone/authenticator)
- Password theft
- Unauthorized access
- Account hijacking
- Phishing attacks
- Go to Security Settings:
- Choose Method:
- Configure:
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- 1Password
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Use if you lose access to 2FA device
- Store securely
- Don't share with anyone
- Regenerate if compromised
- Use backup codes
- Contact support with ID verification
- We'll help you regain access
- Don't disable 2FA unless necessary
- Keep backup codes safe
- Update phone number if using SMS
- Use authenticator app over SMS
